Designed for the 3.5L V6 “2GR-FKS” engine used in the facelifted 30-series Alphard, this front pipe features a revised exhaust layout engineered to improve both sound quality and throttle response.
While the previous model was designed exclusively for the GGH30W, this version is compatible with both the GGH30W and GGH35W models, expanding vehicle compatibility while further refining exhaust characteristics.
In V6 engines, the piping layout before the exhaust from the left and right banks merges has a significant impact on sound quality.
With the factory layout, the rear bank piping tends to be shorter due to structural constraints, causing the exhaust flow to mix unevenly.
To address this, the rear bank pipe length has been extended as much as possible to optimize the balance between the left and right banks.
As a result, the exhaust note becomes clearer and more refined, reducing the overly deep or muddled tone often associated with V6 engines.
Additionally, the collector section features a shallow merge angle, allowing exhaust gases to combine more smoothly without excessive turbulence.
This optimized flow contributes to smoother throttle response and improved drivability.
Although this product is designed to reduce the difference in pipe length between the left and right banks, it is not marketed as a fully equal-length system.
Considering vehicle clearance requirements and the vertical movement of the front pipe during driving, the layout prioritizes the best balance between performance and real-world practicality.
The underside of the vehicle was digitally captured using 3D scanning technology, and the layout was designed in 3D CAD.
Each unit is then individually finished by skilled craftsmen using precision TIG welding.
